Teddy Willoya - Program Coordinator

Teddy started with YRDFA in the summer of 2010 as an intern associated with the First Alaskans Institute. He was born in Nome, Alaska and raised in Brooksville, Florida. Teddy returned to Alaska when he was 12 years old and has traveled all around the state working and commercial fishing. He attended Mt. Edgecumbe High School and Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, Alaska. He and his family lived in Pilot Station for a couple of years before moving to their current home in Anchorage.

Teddy is studying for an electrical engineering degree at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) and would like to pursue environmental engineering afterwards. Prior to attending UAA, he attended school at the Western International University on-line where he obtained an associate's degree in business arts.

Teddy enjoys spending time with his family, including two wonderful daughters. On weekends he can also be found playing paintball, riding ATVs, and snowboarding.
